How do I win a 2009 Series Gold Card?

You can win Gold Cards by playing at any of our real money Ring Games. The higher the limits you play, the better chances you'll have of winning a Gold Card. Gold Cards are randomly selected via our Random Number Generator (RNG) and will be displayed at your table at the end of the hand:

If the displayed Gold Card matches one of your hole cards you win that Gold Card! You can still win even if you folded your cards during the hand!

Now there’s no guarantee that the selected Gold Card will match any players 'hole cards'. If there is no match then another Gold Card is randomly chosen each subsequent hand until a match is found. This may take several hands and may even coincide with the selection of the next Gold Card if enough rake has been collected. Therefore the same player may be awarded of 2 or more Gold Cards in a row. You can earn multiples of a single type of card (the quantity of each card type are displayed in numbers on the bottom right corner of your Gold Card)

Are my Series 1, 2 and 3 Gold Cards expired?

No, you will still be able to use your Series 1, 2 and 3 Gold Cards towards several great promotions including our Gold Card Daily Lotteries. Check back soon for more ways to use your old Series 1, 2 and 3 Gold Cards.

What can I do with a Gold Card?

Once you’ve won a Gold Card, the fun doesn’t stop there. You’ll have 4 ways to win:

  1. Gold Card Daily Lottery
  2. Gold Card 500 Weekly Race
  3. 2009 Series Guaranteed Cash Prizes
  4. $52,000 Grand Prize

Gold Card Daily Lottery

Login to your Sportsbook Poker account every day to see if you’ve won the daily lottery. We’ll post a NEW winning Gold Card(s) under the Rewards tab > Card Daily Lottery link each day. If you are able to match the winning Gold Card(s) with your collection of Gold Cards you could win cash or seats into exclusive tournaments

Each Gold Card Daily Lottery card will have a preset expiration date and time. Multiple Lotteries may be in effect at the same time, so be sure to check the other Daily Lotteries to see if your Gold Cards are eligible. Once a Daily Lottery expires, you will not be able to redeem your Gold Cards for that specific Lottery. Once you redeem a Gold Card for a prize, it will be removed from your collection (and the site) for good.

The same Random Number Generator that Sportsbook Poker uses to ensure the fairness of all our poker games is used to ensure the equitable and random distribution of all Gold Cards over the set period of time.

2009 Series Guaranteed Cash Prizes

Each month we’ll post a 2009 Series instant cash prize hand. If you’re able to match the prize hand using your personal collection of 2009 Series Gold Cards you’ll be able to cash those cards in for cash!

$52,000 Grand Prize

In addition to our daily lotteries and the GC 500, there are several guaranteed prizes that are always available for you including our $52,000 Grand Prize.
Sportsbook Poker is giving away a guaranteed $52,000 jackpot to one lucky player who is able to collect all 52 2009 Series Gold Cards in the deck.

If no one collects the entire 52 card collection, 30 days after the last 2009 Series Gold Card is released, the player with the most unique 2009 Series Gold Cards will automatically win the $52,000. In the event of a tie, we’ll determine the winner to be the player with the highest total number of 2009 Series Gold Cards between the tied players.

This means, even if you don’t have the entire deck, you could still win the jackpot if you have more unique 2009 Series cards than anyone else!

Sportsbook Poker will award $52,000 in one direct cash deposit to the winner's real money player's account. All Series IV Gold Cards will be surrendered and removed from the player's personal collection at that time. Should a player choose not to surrender their entire Gold Card 2009 Series collection, the $52,000 cash prize is forfeited and will be awarded to the next player.

Where can I see my Gold Card collection?
