$10,000 Bracket Contest
This will be run like a traditional “March Madness” bracket, awarding the entrant points for each correct pick they make. The top five finishers get paid as follows:
1st $4000
2nd $3000
3rd $1500
4th $1000
5th $500
Like in years past, if someone fills out a perfect bracket (all of their selections are correct); they win $10,000,000
Key dates:
Selection Sunday is Sunday March 16th. This is when they name the teams that qualified for the tournament.
Monday morning March 17th. If all goes as planned, we enter the teams names into the bracket and it will go live to our members.
Thursday March 20th- Friday March 21st is the first round of the tournament
Saturday March 22- Sunday March 23 is the second round
Thursday March 27th- Friday March 28th is the third round (Sweet 16)
Saturday March 29th – Sunday March 30th is the forth round (Elite 8)
Saturday April 5th is the fifth round (Final Four)
Monday April 7this the Finals
$40,000 March Madness Challenge
Basically, we award points to bettors on all of their Men’s College Basketball WINNING wagers from March 1st- April 7th. The amount of points is based on what type of wager they win. For example, the bettor is awarded more points for parlays than they do for simply making a straight wager. They win a 10 team parlay, they get more points than a 3 team parlay, etc, etc.
Prize money will be awarded to the top five finishers for four weekly periods. Also, money will be awarded to the top 5 overall winners.
This “Challenge” starts March 1st and ends April 7th (Men’s Final). This challenge is for all Men college games during this time (regular season, conference tournaments, NIT, NCAA).
There will be 4 “Weekly” winners (places 1-5 get paid).
There will also be an “Overall” winner (places 1-5 get paid).
These payout breakdowns are below.
The dates for the “Weekly” winners are as follows:
1st “Week”: March 1st thru the 9th
2nd Week: 10th thru the 16th
3rd Week: 17th thru the 23rd
4th “Week”: 24th thru April 7th (this is longer b/c there are fewer games)
Overall winner is obviously March 1st thru April 7th.
This will be broken down into 4 weekly prize pools of $7500 and a final prize pool of $10,000.
